Who we are
FixFinder (findrtk.com) is run by CKSZ LLC. Questions about your data: [email protected].
The short version
- No ads. No ad trackers. No data sold.
- We only collect what we need to run the site, send the newsletter you asked for, and give you Pro.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and browser info to deliver pages and block attacks. To stop spam, we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP when you ask for a sign-in link. It's deleted within about an hour. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you're a person.
The Fix Report newsletter
If you sign up, we keep your email address so we can send it. You confirm by clicking a link first. Our email company, Resend, stores the list and sends the emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Signing in to FixFinder Pro
There's no password. You type your email and we send a one-time link through Resend. The link works once and stops after 30 minutes. When you sign in, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days. It's only for sign-in, not tracking.
Payments
Stripe handles payments as the seller of record (Stripe Managed Payments). You type your card into Stripe's page, not ours. We never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us your email, your plan and your Stripe customer number so we can turn on Pro. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what Stripe keeps.
What we keep about Pro members
Your email, your plan, when it ends, your Stripe customer number, and your pass and download use. It's stored on Cloudflare (Workers KV).
Saved projects
If you save a project, we store it with your account (up to 25 projects, 2 MB each) so you can open it later. You can delete one or all of them any time from the tool.
Free downloads without an account
If you aren't signed in, you can download Mission Planner files 5 times for free. To count them, we set one cookie with a random device number (no name or email in it). We also keep a scrambled code made from your IP address. It's a one-way hash, so we can't turn it back into your IP. It lets us count downloads if the cookie gets cleared. Both counts are deleted on their own after 90 days. We don't use them for ads or tracking.
Files you use in the tools
- Mission Planner: files you open are read in your browser. When you download, your pins are sent to our server only to build the zip, then thrown away.
- Ortho Tiler: your image is uploaded to Cloudflare storage (R2) so we can cut it into tiles. Your files are deleted when your download finishes, when you cancel, or about 24 hours after your job finishes. An upload that never finishes is deleted after 24 hours.
- Some tools save your work in your own browser (local storage) so you don't lose it. That stays on your device.
Place lookups
When a tool looks up a place or the state for a point, we send that location (not your name or email) to the US Census Geocoder or OpenStreetMap.
Short links
Links like findrtk.com/li/… or /r/… just send you to a page on our site and add a label saying where the link was shared (LinkedIn, Reddit and so on). They don't identify you.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from any newsletter email. To see or delete your Pro account data or saved projects, email [email protected] from the same address. We may need to keep payment records the law requires.
Kids
FixFinder is for working pros, not children under 13.
